What to Watch
5 governor races are rated Toss-up: Georgia, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon, and Vermont.
Final Full Week Before Election Day
With 14 days remaining until November 3, the map's closest contests remain clustered in a handful of states carrying outsized weight for control of both chambers. Senate races in Ohio, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, South Carolina, Texas, and Alaska all carry Toss-up ratings, meaning any late shift in turnout or ad spending in these states could prove decisive to the chamber balance.
On the House side, watch Florida's 9th, 14th, 16th, and 22nd districts, along with Pennsylvania's 8th, New York's 4th, 17th, and 21st, and Virginia's 1st and 2nd — all rated Toss-up and clustered in states with substantial media markets where late polling could move quickly. Georgia's 7th and Michigan's 4th and 7th districts also remain unsettled.
Governor contests in Georgia, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon, and Vermont remain the most competitive statewide races on the ballot. With no additional debates or filing deadlines scheduled in the days ahead, the next notable data points will come from fresh public polling in these contested states as campaigns close out their final push.
