Colorado House: A Crowded Fundraising Field Rated Likely D

Eileen Laubacher, a Democrat, leads all Colorado House fundraisers with $10.3 million in total receipts, though heavy spending of $6.7 million has left her with $3.61 million on hand. Republican Gabe Evans has raised far less overall, $5.39 million, but has spent conservatively — just $1.59 million — leaving him with the largest cash reserve in the field at $3.88 million.

Democrat Manny Rutinel raised $4.34 million but has burned through most of it, entering with only $601,232 on hand. Other Democrats, including Jason Crow ($2.71 million cash on hand) and Joe Neguse ($3.09 million), have preserved larger shares of smaller hauls. Republican Jeff Hurd holds $1.76 million in reserve.

The disparity between receipts and cash on hand across these candidates suggests spending pace, not fundraising totals alone, will shape late-race resources. This Colorado House race is rated Likely D.

Governors' Races: A Ten-State Landscape

No single event dominates the week, but the spread of gubernatorial ratings gives readers plenty to track across the map. Four contests — Arizona, Florida, and Nevada — sit at Toss-up, meaning any new polling or fundraising disclosure in these states carries outsized weight for the overall picture.

Beyond the Toss-ups, watch the Lean-rated contests for signs of tightening or drift: Georgia and New Mexico are rated Lean R and Lean D respectively, while Iowa is Lean D. Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, and Nebraska currently sit at Likely R or Likely D, giving them less room to move but still worth monitoring for any shift that would force a rating change.

With ten governorships rated competitive to some degree, readers should treat this list as the core watch set for the coming weeks — any single state moving a full rating category would be a notable development.
