Biography

Bobby Hanig is a Republican politician and Army veteran currently serving in the North Carolina Senate, representing District 1, following his appointment by Governor Roy Cooper in 2023. He previously served in the North Carolina House of Representatives after winning his 2022 primary election for House District 6. Hanig is also a business owner of The Pool Guy Aquatic Services.
