Biography

Bushra Amiwala is a Democratic activist and politician from Illinois seeking election to the U.S. House of Representatives in the state's 9th congressional district. She made history as the first Generation Z woman elected to public office in the United States and was the youngest Muslim elected official in the country at the time of her election. Amiwala has worked as a public speaker and community activist throughout her political career.
