# Erik Bottcher Erik Bottcher is a Democratic politician from New York who has represented Manhattan neighborhoods including Greenwich Village, Chelsea, and Hell's Kitchen on the New York City Council from 2022 to 2026. He currently serves in the New York State Senate, a position he has held since 2026. Bottcher is seeking election to the U.S. House of Representatives representing New York's 12th district.
