# Maura Sullivan Maura Sullivan is a Democratic candidate for U.S. House in New Hampshire's 1st Congressional District. She is a former U.S. Marine Corps officer who served in Iraq and previously held positions in the Obama administration at the Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense from 2014 to 2016. Sullivan has also served on the American Battle Monuments Commission since 2010.
