Biography

Martin Jackley is an American attorney and Republican politician serving as South Dakota's Attorney General, a position he has held since 2023 and previously held from 2009 to 2019. He previously served as the United States Attorney for the District of South Dakota and ran unsuccessfully for Governor in 2018, losing the Republican primary to Kristi Noem. Jackley is now seeking election to the U.S. House of Representatives.
