Biography

Mike Flood is an attorney and businessman serving as the U.S. representative for Nebraska's 1st congressional district since July 2022. He previously served two separate terms in the Nebraska Legislature representing the 19th district (2005-2013 and 2021-2022), during which he served as speaker of the legislature from 2007 to 2013. As the incumbent Republican candidate, he is seeking reelection to his U.S. House seat.
