Biography

Veronica Escobar is the U.S. representative for Texas's 16th congressional district, a position she has held since 2019. She previously served as an El Paso County commissioner from 2007 to 2011 and as El Paso county judge from 2011 to 2017. A Democrat, Escobar is seeking reelection to her House seat.
