Biography

Jim Desmond is a Republican politician and retired aviator currently serving as a member of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, a position he has held since 2019. He previously served as mayor of San Marcos, California from 2006 to 2018 and as a member of the San Marcos city council from 2004 to 2006. Desmond is running as a challenger for the U.S. House seat representing California's 49th district.
