Star Parker is a conservative political activist, syndicated columnist, and television host who founded the Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE) in 1995. She previously ran as the Republican nominee for U.S. House in California's 37th District in 2010. Parker is the Republican challenger in California's 49th Congressional District.
