# Herb Conaway Herb Conaway Jr. is a physician and former Air Force officer who has represented New Jersey's 3rd congressional district in the U.S. House since 2025. He previously served in the New Jersey General Assembly for 27 years, representing the 7th legislative district from 1998 to 2025. As the incumbent Democratic candidate, he is seeking reelection to his House seat.
