Paige Cognetti is the Mayor of Scranton, Pennsylvania, serving as the city's first female mayor after winning a special election. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously ran her initial mayoral campaign as an Independent candidate. She is seeking the U.S. House seat representing Pennsylvania's 8th Congressional District.
