# Kathy Castor Kathy Castor is a lawyer and Democrat currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Florida's 14th congressional district, a position she has held since 2007. Before her election to Congress, Castor was a member of the Hillsborough County Commission. She is seeking reelection to her House seat representing the Tampa-based district.
