Biography

Ammar Campa-Najjar is a Democratic candidate for U.S. House in California's 48th congressional district. A former official at the U.S. Department of Labor, he has run for Congress twice previously and also sought the office of mayor of Chula Vista in 2022. He currently serves as a teaching assistant at Georgetown University and holds a commission in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
