Biography

Zach Wahls is an Iowa Democratic politician currently serving in the Iowa Senate, representing the 43rd district since his election in 2019. He previously served as Minority Leader of the Iowa Senate from 2020 to 2023, when he resigned amid leadership staff disputes. Wahls is now running for the U.S. Senate.
