Biography

James Talarico is a Texas House member who has served in the state legislature since 2018 and is the Democratic nominee for the 2026 U.S. Senate election in Texas. A former educator and Presbyterian seminarian, Talarico brings experience in both public service and religious studies to his candidacy. He is seeking to challenge the incumbent U.S. Senator from Texas.
