Biography

Kyle Sweetser is a construction company owner and Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Alabama in 2026. He switched his party affiliation to the Democratic Party in April 2025, after spending 2024 as a vocal critic of Donald Trump's policies on tariffs and foreign affairs. Sweetser is challenging for the Senate seat as a first-time candidate.
