Biography

James Risch is an American lawyer who has represented Idaho in the U.S. Senate since 2009. He previously served as Idaho's lieutenant governor under governors Dirk Kempthorne and Butch Otter, and briefly as governor between their administrations. He is seeking reelection to his Senate seat.
