Biography

Amanda Edwards is an attorney who served on the Houston City Council from 2016 to 2020 and has run for multiple offices, including the 2020 Democratic primary for U.S. Senate and the 2024 special election for U.S. House in Texas's 18th District. She is currently a challenger seeking election to Congress in this district. Edwards has been active in Texas politics and public service for over a decade.
