Biography

Ben R. Luján is a Democratic U.S. Senator from New Mexico, first elected to the Senate in 2020. Prior to his Senate service, he represented New Mexico's 3rd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2009 to 2021. Luján is the son of Ben Luján Sr., who served as Speaker of the New Mexico House of Representatives.
