Biography

Sarah Trone Garriott is an American politician and ordained minister currently serving in the Iowa Senate representing the 14th district, a position she has held since January 2021. She announced her candidacy for the U.S. House of Representatives in Iowa's 3rd congressional district in May 2025. A member of the Democratic Party, she brings a background in both ministerial and legislative work to her congressional campaign.
