Biography

Bryan Steil is a Republican attorney and businessman from Janesville, Wisconsin, who has represented Wisconsin's 1st congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2019. He currently serves as chair of the House Administration Committee, a position he has held since 2023. Before his election to Congress, Steil was a member of the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents.
