Biography

Hilda Solis is a member of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and current Chair of Los Angeles County. She previously served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2001 to 2009, representing California's 31st and 32nd congressional districts, and as the 25th Secretary of Labor under President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2013.
