Biography

Linda Sánchez is a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives from California's 38th congressional district, a position she has held since 2013. A former labor lawyer, she was first elected to Congress in 2002 and currently serves on the Ways and Means Committee. She previously chaired the Congressional Hispanic Caucus during the 114th Congress.
