Biography

Bruce Blakeman is an attorney and Republican politician currently serving as Nassau County Executive, a position he has held since 2021. He previously held several public offices, including commissioner of the New York-New Jersey Port Authority, Nassau County legislator, and Hempstead town councilman. Blakeman is the Republican nominee for Governor of New York in 2026.
