Biography

David Schweikert is a Republican politician and businessman currently serving as the U.S. representative from Arizona's 1st congressional district, a position he has held since 2023. He previously represented Arizona's 6th congressional district from 2013 to 2023 and the 5th district from 2011 to 2013. His congressional district encompasses much of northern Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and Cave Creek.
