# Josh Shapiro Josh Shapiro is the 48th Governor of Pennsylvania, a position he has held since 2023. Before becoming governor, he served as Pennsylvania's Attorney General from 2017 to 2023 and previously served on the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners from 2012 to 2017. Shapiro is a lawyer and member of the Democratic Party.
