Biography

Rob Sand is a Democratic lawyer who has served as Iowa's 33rd State Auditor since 2019. Previously, he worked as Assistant Attorney General of Iowa from 2010 to 2017. Sand was elected state auditor in 2018 and reelected in 2022, making him the only Democrat elected to a statewide office in Iowa that year.
