Biography

Mariannette Miller-Meeks is a physician and Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Iowa's 1st congressional district since 2021. Prior to her election to Congress, she served as an Iowa state senator from the 41st district from 2019 to 2021. Her district encompasses much of southeastern Iowa, including the cities of Davenport, Bettendorf, Burlington, and Iowa City.
