Biography

Emanuel Jones is a Democratic challenger for Georgia's 13th Congressional District U.S. House seat. He has served in the Georgia State Senate representing the 10th district since 2005 and holds degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Finance/Accounting from Columbia University. Jones is a former U.S. Army officer who was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Army Corps of Engineers in 1980 and advanced to the rank of captain.
