Biography

Steven Horsford is a U.S. Representative from Nevada's 4th congressional district, serving in this position since 2019 and previously from 2013 to 2015. He represents the first African American to hold both the Nevada State Senate Majority Leader position and to be elected to Congress from Nevada. Horsford served in the Nevada State Senate from 2005 to 2013 and chaired the Congressional Black Caucus from 2023 to 2025.
