Biography

Clay Higgins is a Republican U.S. Representative from Louisiana's 3rd congressional district, a position he has held since winning a runoff election in December 2016. The southwestern Louisiana district includes the cities of Lafayette, Lake Charles, and New Iberia. Higgins is also a reserve law enforcement officer.
