# Josh Harder Joshua Keck Harder is a Democratic U.S. Representative currently serving California's 9th congressional district, a position he has held since 2023. He was first elected to Congress in 2018, defeating Republican incumbent Jeff Denham in the 10th district, and continued representing the district following the 2020 redistricting when it was renumbered as the 9th. The district covers the majority of San Joaquin County and includes the cities of Stockton, Tracy, Lodi, and Manteca.
