Jared Golden is a Marine Corps veteran who has served as the U.S. representative for Maine's 2nd congressional district since 2019. He represents a politically competitive district spanning northern Maine that includes the cities of Lewiston, Bangor, and Augusta. Golden has been elected to his seat in both 2020 and 2024, despite the district voting for the Republican presidential candidate in those same years.
