# Jesus Garcia Jesus "Chuy" Garcia is a Democratic politician from Illinois currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Illinois's 4th congressional district, a position he has held since 2019. Prior to his election to Congress, Garcia served on the Chicago City Council representing the 33rd Ward and worked as a community organizer and attorney focused on civil rights issues. He is seeking reelection to his House seat in 2024.
