Biography

Mario Díaz-Balart is a Republican U.S. Representative from Florida who was first elected to Congress in 2002 and currently represents Florida's 26th congressional district. His district encompasses much of northwestern Miami-Dade County, including the cities of Hialeah and surrounding areas, as well as portions of the Everglades. He is seeking reelection to the House.
