# Maxine Dexter Maxine Dexter is a physician and Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing Oregon's 3rd congressional district, which includes most of Portland east of the Willamette River. She previously served in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2020 to 2024, representing the 33rd district covering parts of Northwest Portland and surrounding communities.
