Joseph Courtney is an American lawyer and politician from Connecticut currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Connecticut's 2nd congressional district. First elected to Congress in 2006, he seeks reelection to his current House seat. Courtney has focused his legislative work on issues affecting his district and state throughout his tenure in office.
