James Richardson Comer Jr. is a Republican representing Kentucky's 1st congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he has served since 2016. Prior to his election to Congress, Comer served in the Kentucky House of Representatives and as Kentucky's agriculture commissioner. He is seeking reelection to his House seat.
