# Yvette Clarke Yvette Clarke is a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives serving New York's 9th congressional district since 2013. Prior to her current position, she represented New York's 11th congressional district beginning in 2007, and previously served on the New York City Council representing Brooklyn's 40th district from 2002 to 2006.
