Biography

Saikat Chakrabarti is a software engineer and political advisor who co-founded Justice Democrats and served as campaign manager for U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez before becoming her chief of staff until 2019. He is a climate policy advocate seeking the Democratic nomination for California's 11th congressional district. Chakrabarti is challenging the incumbent representative in the 2024 election cycle.
