Biography

Garland Barr is an American attorney and Republican who has served as the U.S. representative for Kentucky's 6th congressional district since 2013. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he worked in the administration of Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher. Barr is currently seeking election to the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by retiring Senator Mitch McConnell.
