Brenton Awa is a Republican politician and former television news anchor currently serving in the Hawaii State Senate, representing District 23 since 2022. He is seeking election to the U.S. House of Representatives from Hawaii's 2nd Congressional District. His district includes communities across Windward and Central Oahu, including Kāne'ohe, Schofield Barracks, and surrounding areas.
