Biography

Pete Aguilar is a Democratic U.S. Representative for California's 33rd congressional district, a position he has held since 2015, and currently serves as chair of the House Democratic Caucus as of 2023. Prior to his election to Congress, he served as mayor of Redlands, California from 2010 to 2014 and held a seat on the Redlands City Council beginning in 2006. He has also served as president of the Inland Empire Division of the League of California Cities.
