# Nikema Williams Nikema Williams is the U.S. Representative for Georgia's 5th congressional district, which encompasses most of Atlanta. She previously served in the Georgia State Senate representing the 39th district from 2017 to 2021 and chaired the Democratic Party of Georgia from 2019 to 2025. Williams also served as one of Georgia's electors in the 2020 Electoral College.
