# Tahesha Way Tahesha Leila Way is a Democratic politician from New Jersey who most recently served as the state's lieutenant governor from 2023 to 2026 and as secretary of state from 2018 to 2026. Previously, she held office as a member and director of the Board of Chosen Freeholders in Passaic County. Way is seeking election to the U.S. House to represent New Jersey's 11th congressional district.
