Biography

Rashida Tlaib is a lawyer and member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Michigan's 12th congressional district, serving since 2019. She is the first Palestinian American woman to serve in Congress and one of the first two Muslim women elected to the chamber. Tlaib is seeking reelection as the Democratic incumbent in her district.
