Biography

William Richardson Timmons IV is a Republican U.S. representative for South Carolina's 4th congressional district, a position he has held since 2019. The district encompasses the Upstate region, including Greenville, Spartanburg, and surrounding areas. Prior to his election to Congress, Timmons served as a South Carolina state senator from 2016 to 2018 and has backgrounds in prosecution and military service as an Air Force officer.
