Biography

Thomas Suozzi is a Democrat currently serving as the U.S. representative for New York's 3rd congressional district, a largely suburban district spanning northern Nassau County and parts of northeastern Queens. He previously held this seat from 2017 to 2023 and returned to Congress in 2024. Suozzi's prior political experience includes serving as Nassau County executive from 2002 to 2009 and as mayor of Glen Cove for eight years.
